PostDoctoral Researcher

Research interests

  • My areas of interest are:
  • animal-plant interactions.
  • the ecology and evolution of animal-plant interactions, specially the evolution of floral polymorphisms and breeding systems and their relation with the pollinator's fauna. I am specially interested in heterostyly, which is a floral polymorphism in which plant populations are composed of two or three morphs that differ reciprocally in the heights of stamen and anthers in the flowers.
  • ecology of invasive plants, mechanisms involved and possible consecuences of the invasion.
  • ecology and evolution of fruit dispersal processes.
